New look & feel
By now you will probably have noticed a new look and feel for this site. I thought it was about time for a refresh, and this design seemed particularly fresh and very easy to use. Enjoy…
Addendum: I’ve also moved this site from status.quiffboy.com to the primary domain of quiffboy.com. It seemed pointless having the site hanging off a sub-domain. All redirects should be automatic and visitors shouldn’t notice any difference.

Ghost Dance and March Violets videos uploaded to youtube…
I’ve been uploading all the videos from the Ghost Dance website to youtube, and while I was trawling through the archive I found a copy of The March Violets doing Turn To The Sky on BBC’s Saturday Superstore!!
So I’ve uploaded that too…
All of which can be found here:

Hello world!
This would be my first post then… Right.
In case you haven’t already gathered, this site will act as a status indicator for all the sites I run… Over time it is my intention that the site will be the first port of call for members and users of these sites, should there be any technical issues with any of them.
It should help keep things a bit more focused for you all and make it easier to find news, should there be any outages or problems.
For anyone who might also check our hosting company’s RSS news feeds, we use the following servers:
File Servers: spacer
Web Server: quifflet
Email Server: janky
MySQL Server: shamu
If you see any problems mentioned regarding those servers, that will probably be what is effecting Heartland too.
The Ghost Dance site has a totally seperate hosting company, and if they have issues its more often than not related to the site’s bandwidth usage (mainly caused by Mr. Marx’s generosity in providing all those lovely downloads!)
Enjoy
